Picked this up on Ebay and it came in the mail today. I just scanned it and will put it in my gallery in a minute. It will be the last picture in there. It's a cancelled check dated 1917, with a very light vignette of the Barnegat Lighthouse and keeper's cottage in the middle of the check. The check was written out by a man who was a moss dealer from Manahawkin. I assume this means he dealt in the sphagnum moss that the pineys were getting out of the cedar swamps and bogs in those days. Pretty neat find. And I found it by accident. :)
Just go to the gallery entitled "BarryC" in member galleries.
