I do not know if this right place to post this. I have long history with this map. About 30 years ago I saw it hanging on a customers wall in Margate. They claimed they got it in the 50s at a yard sale. Over the years I did many jobs for them and saw it often. I was always amazed at the detail. They retired to Florida about 5 years ago and gave it to another customer of mine in Margate. Then told them to give it to Al. He always liked it. So anyway got it. Was very busy. Put it in a closet and now just came across it again. Dont know much about it. I see on internet that someone else has one and there trying to get info. They claim the one they have is hand done in pencil. I think this one a print. I think I can make out CG station and that I believe was built in 1939. So maybe not older then that. Funny it came with damage but water stain has made paper almost white. Like maybe it was a sport mans promo and made to look old. The detail is great down to the houses and the whiskey jug on third picture and other cool little things. anybody have info about this it would be great to hear. thanks AL

It shows the fire tower at Batsto which was not at the exact spot it is today. It was further away from Batsto as the map shows. Also, did you notice it shows the location of two buildings just above the word "Water" in "Sweetwater?" There are McMansions there now.
