We revisited one of only about two known locations in the pines that the Large Whorled Pogonia (Isotria Verticillata) grow. Bob has theorized, and I agree, that the seeds were deposited when someone from North Jersey or other locations brought a motorcycle or ATV trailer to the area and the seeds fell off. Three years ago they were already blooming but this year they are very late. Maybe in two weeks or so I will return. I counted about 12 of them.
