All,
It has been a while since we were stone searching, so we headed out early today with high hopes of finding a few. I decided to search for a stone that Onehand told me about a while back that is near Bear Swamp Hill.
To get there I had to pass through Chatsworth, and as they always do they have the coin toss on Memorial Day for Lebanon Lakes Fire Company. Because of that I was able to visit two people I work with on our day off. And I was told that another co-worker had passed through on either his Harley or Triumph just a minute before and I drove right pass him and did not notice. All this before 8:30AM.
We finally arrived near where Onehand told me to look and we walked the .6 miles to see it.

From there we headed to Well's Mill to search, but in one of the area's we were blocked by water, and in the other it appears they have been destroyed by the Greenwood Forest building a rye field.
So we headed to the Bullock area and spoke with an acquaintance who informed me that we all will be seeing a new log cabin house being built in that area. I won't say where but lets see who can be the first to notice where it will be at. Things should start in the coming weeks. He also informed me that the owner did get approval from the Pineland's Commission and all is on the up and up. And he also said that he found out that in Whiting to build a house on a 1 acre property it now cost $40,000 for the septic system. In this case it was much less since the property is considerably larger in size than 1 acre. That apparently is taken in consideration on how efficient they need to be. Not really sure.
From there we headed back through Chatsworth and saw another co-worker and then headed to the bridge at Friendship on our way home. It looks like it is almost completed and maybe by next weekend we can drive across it. It may be longer since they obviously were not working today.
The bridge at Friendship week 6.
