Whenever an off-road vehicle maker makes a similar claim as the one below, it blows my mind on so many levels:

"a dual-screen rear seat entertainment system keeps the passengers busy while the G 63 rolls to the trailhead."

I don't get it. Don't people who are outside like being outside?

Looks to be built plenty stout! Not a big fan of the 6 axle look, I bet it is hard to stop though with all 6 axles locked! I am a fan of the Unimog. If my bank account allowed it, I would have a Unimog for running the pines as opposed to a beat up Silverado.

Hew, I agree. Unimogs are one of the most adaptable trucks (onroad tractor?) in the world and there are companies that make campers for them. Imagine the possibilities with an almost unstoppable truck with living quarters.

Yes, pretty much a onroad tractor. I bet a new Unimog with a camper on it would have a higher value than my house! It sure would make a sweet beach buggy for IBSP. I looked at a late 50's French Unimog last year that was for sale, even though it needed a boat load of work, the asking price was still close to 10k! I am sure parts are exspensive also.

I have a softspot for cabover design 4x4 trucks. A Jeep concept I hope that hits the production line.

In our pines. BTW this was on a road, thats how bad they are. There was a Unimog there that day but I didn't get any pictures. In my opinion they are all too large for Wharton.
