This is one of the few times that I have found Beck's directions to be accurate.
The spring is pretty much as he describes it in "More Forgotten Towns." I suppose in a way it sort of looks like a volcano with the spring water running down the hill towards Toms River (the river, not the town.) You can clearly see the yellow mineral deposits where the water runs down. I wasn't brave enough to taste the water, but it was almost likewarm. Still cold, but not as cold as outside water should be.
It's really, really easy to get to. I will most likely post directions in the directions forum later today after I get some sleep. For now, here are some pictures.
