All,

On Tuesday Al noticed that there no longer is a sign at Paradise Lake Campgrounds, and yesterday it was still absent. Anyone know if it is just being replaced or something else has happened?

The location it was in is state property, and it is interesting to know you need a permit. That does seem a little heavy handed though since there are better routes. Why not just bolt a board over it blocking the view? Unless the sign it owned by the state.

Cutting down the sign does seem a little drastic. The state road off #206 is in great shape. Directly through their gate, the road deteriorates. Seemed quiet back there, but one fella said the sign was taken down. Maybe there are other issues.

Paradise Lake Campground has the potential to be a terrific place. I camped there years ago while towing a small pop-up with my CJ7. Now, I have a 38' class A motorhome. I'd like nothing more than to be able to camp there, but I just fear the road in & the lack of appropriate overhaead clearance.

The sign for Paradise Lakes Campground has returned. It is a mobile sign, on the back of an old farm trailer that looks like its set up for hay-rides.

Yea, it was there two weeks ago when Al and I were in the area.
