Went out Memorial Day to hike the White Trail through the preserve. Beautiful sunny day to be out, with a nice breeze. Its listed at three miles, but I had a bit over 3.5 on my GPS.
The highlight of this hike (actually, pretty much the whole trail) is running through the old cranberry bogs. The balance of the trail is some not-quite-as-interesting-or-scenic roads through pine forests.
Lots of birds on this walk too, but no bald eagles (the viewing tower lists them as a possibility). I particularly enjoyed the remains of the bogs, like the myrid little dams and a handful of old cranberry buildings (pump houses maybe?).
My review and far too many pictures: http://southjerseytrails.wordpress.com/2014/05/31/whitetrailparkerpreserve/
