All,
Yes, just really getting to it.
You guys were wonderful and a pleasure to meet & share an evening with.
Gabe, your musical talents are a gift. Thank you for sharing. Scott & Dott, great fun at the table and Lynn really enjoyed speaking with you. Tom, I am not really sure what it is you think I am so dedicated to but it can't be good. Infinite sameness, shame shame, how badly you behaved, Oh that was me.
My wife really enjoyed the event and the daylight hours. She, of a musical background completely appreciated Gabe's work. I myself will never tire of that piece of the river. It was good to see Len, lgench once again, fascinating man. To those whom I did not actually meet, I am sad, but chances are you a better for it. The event was fun, the topics interesting. Ben, I wish I had more time to speak to you, it was great to see you recognized so in your work at this. Guy... I actually never drank so much as one beer thank you sir.
Nice seeing you & your wife again. Get that ear looked at damn it!
Jeff, great to finally meet you! An adventurer on the site & a gentleman at the event. Stu, the book snaffoo stunk but it was good to see you & your wife you just the same.
Oh Bob, what is there to say. As usual you made a spectacle of yourself.
Kiddin' man. Great to see you as always. I will remember to bring you some depends next year. Sorry for your incontingence issue.
Everitt was a fun man to share a table with and hopefully he enjoyed our company. Sue, good to see you again! It seems I got the stink eye from Barry many times last evening. Guess he just didn't get the right table or group to sit next to. Funny how that table emptied out so quickly.
I will say this in closing. Thank you Linda for putting together such an inspiring event and Jerseyman... you actually do fit the phrase "A Gentleman and a scholar" it is always to be in awe in your presence.
Gotta go to work now.
Thanks guys.

Well, I made it home, despite almost being "t-boned" by a driver who ran a red light. My parents warned me when I was young about Jersey drivers!
First, thanx to Jerseyman and Linda for such a nice event.
LARGO! Nice seeing you and Lynne again, I want to thank you so much for taking me around and introducing me to so many interesting people. Notably long-a-coming and RedneckF350.
bobpbx, always a pleasure seeing you.
Whiting Rider, sorry that I missed you!
Guy, don't mess around with that ear. NOW is the time to get it looked at. You're too young to put off something like that.
Ben, congrats on award and thank you for this great website.
And Gabe, pleasure meeting you and Yvonne. I missed a beer event? Humph! And I could have brought some. And after I shared my favorite spots with you. But seriously, I envy your talent. I love music, can't perform it. Very enjoyable, both guitar and piano. Well done. Oh, glad you washed your face for the event.

Say what?

Ben,

Linda is offering T-shirt's with an American Flag on it made out of cranberries to all web-masters to sell on their site for one year to make money to help pay for your cost. In a nutshell that is it.

Home from work and going to the ear doctors AGAIN. Having problems.

I didn't mean you were being recognized for the t-shirts Ben, I meant being recognized for running the site. The tees look really cool with an American Flag made of blueberries and cranberries.

I had no idea that there were t-shirts being offered. I thought maybe you were getting me confused with Cathy (pineypower.com) who had a cornucopia of clothing for sale.

Linda has not said anything to me about t-shirts so if you want one you may have to talk to Barry or Cathy.

What makes this site run is the people that post and make up the community. I just pay the bills and answer the emails.

I don't think the tees are out yet. It was something that was shown to the group after the dinner. They will probably be out in the next couple months. Sorry for the confusion.

Did anyone pick up any new books?
The gift basket with Heart of the Pines was very nice. We all wanted that!

Ben, Linda told me they want to sponsor website costs for one year in exchange for marketing the shirts. I'm not sure of details or exactly what she meant, since Linda was pretty busy yesterday, to say the least! PM me if you want to discuss. I had to bail out early as well - the flu earlier in the week had me feeling real tired, and I had a long ride.

It was nice meeting my fellow webmasters yesterday. I could hear Table 9 having lots of fun, and figured it was y'all! I wish I knew more of you to say hello!

It was great seeing everyone there at the sweetwater event. Very nice to meet alot of new people. I realize after reading this thread that I missed a few people from the forum here, unfortunitely. Gabe, liked the song alot. Sounded like an authentic 1700's ballad perfect as a tribute to the beloved Mullica. I would have liked to hang out a little longer but I was totally exhausted (I had been there all day).

It was the first time I had ever been to the Sweetwater Casino. Nice place. Alot more rustic than what I expected. I thought it would be more banquet type rooms for some reason.

Like the rest of you I had a great time. Barry Cathy and I had a great time in the "digital hinterlands" and we got to see a fair number of folks despite being, as Barry put it, on the wrong side of the bar. Of note was a strong representation from the West Jersey History Roundtable. Nothing like a few rowdy historians to brighten things up a bit.

It was good to meet folks from here. It is always nice to put faces to the screen names.

Gabe, thanks for your compliment of my compliment. I meant every word of it.

Kudos to Linda for a great event.
