Pine Barrens Jamboree with Ong’s Hat Band

COME ONE, COME ALL!

OCEANVILLE (GALLOWAY TWP.), NJ – The Noyes Museum of Art of Stockton University and the South Jersey Culture & History Center will host a Pine Barrens Jamboree on Thursday, April 16 from 5:30-7:30pm, celebrating the life and culture of the Pine Barrens. This spirited musical Jamboree promises to delight as you listen to live music by Ong’s Hat Band and enjoy light refreshments in the “down home” South Jersey tradition. Also, the entire museum will be open for you to enjoy the dynamic current exhibitions: Pine Barrens: Life and Legends, and MICA: Then/Now.

The Jamboree, tying in with the current Pine Barrens: Life and Legends exhibition, is offered with the support of Stockton University. Stunning photos from the 1800-1900s and a rich trove of information about the history and folklore of the Pine Barrens were contributed to the exhibition by Tom Kinsella and Paul W. Schopp with the help of many Stockton students.

Community members of all ages are invited to attend this exciting event. Admission is $5 for adults and $4 for seniors (65+) and students, and free for Museum members, Stockton students and staff.

I would love to meet and greet some of the njpinebarrens folks at this event!

Best regards,
Jerseyman
