Is it possible to do some combination of either not allowing new people to join without moderator approval, and monitoring all posts of those who are not regular posts for a while?
This nutcase is going to do his best to drive this site under, and he's not worth it. You've put too much time and effort into this site to let some lunatic wreak havoc.

I have turned off registration without moderator approval, and deleted a ton of users that signed up in the last few days. I believe that this might be the end of it, but I am sure that he's got one or two other accounts that I don't know about.

Fortunately I have all of his IP's logged, and a record of each of his posts and emails. I just got off the phone with the Newark FBI branch office and they will be investigating.

Also, since I used to work for Comcast I still have some friends that work there, and they should be able to give me a name, address and phone number for this kid.

Oh, you are so on top of this. FBI-that's really good. He deserves a good spanking. On second thought, he'd probably enjoy it.

I'm a little confused as to why this particular person is even wasting their time being a moron... What caused this person so much concern that they felt the need to act foolish on a website of this nature? I have seen similar behavior on websites geared towards middle schoolers when I was younger but I do not see why this type of incident would happen on this kind of website??? Can anyone shed some light on the topic?
