Explore Friendship bogs at dawn and dusk.Take a topo or aerial map and know how to use it.It's mazy out there but it's gorgeous, also Tulpehocken Creek from hawkins Bridge upstream is the Barrens answer to the garden of Eden.

Wherever you find them ;) Best times are dawn and dusk, not too many moving around during mid-day unless they have been disturbed. All are taking care of YOY, so keep that in mind. We were in the NW part of the state yesterday for the wild rhododendron show; encountered 6 deer, 2 with fawns, 1 bear with COY. Deer were bedded down along the seldom used roads in the tall roadside grass. Beautiful summer chestnut color.

Here are a couple places just off Route 50 near Tuckahoe where you will have a spectacular view of the expansive Great Egg Harbor River marshes. There's quite a variety of birds to see, lots of turtles crossing the road sometimes too. Sunsets are usually spectacular as well. The roads are usually in good condition, unless there has been a recent storm. The flies can be very aggressive unless there's a breeze though.
