Thanks for the kind comments everyone. I really love the scenery of the Pines. We'll be down that way again this coming weekend, doing some camping. As far as the stream, it's the body of water within borders of the Goshen Pond Campground, so I'm going to assume it's Goshen Pond. The main bodies of large water areas are to the right if you're standing in at the back of the campground and the stream-like area is to the left.

For some reason I was having trouble posting pics straight from my iPhone but these are links from my Flickr. These were taken probably 8 years ago during a day kayaking trip at Goshen pond. If you look closely/zoom at the one pic you can see the remains of a bridge or perhaps a mill?

That third photo you posted is stunning....looks like it was a beautiful day.
Yes I do remember it being an amazing day on the water as well as hiking. I have many more pictures of areas and scenery in the pines but have had trouble posting them here especially without the presence of the photo albums
