I found this pic on the internet of a New Jersey Air National Guard F16. I'm kind of an airplane geek and love reading up on planes, especially military offerings. You can see it says New Jersey on it in red and below the AC lettering and numbers it say "The Jersey Devils." Just thought this was cool and that New Jersey was getting recognized somewhere on the web. By the way the pic was from www.f-16.net. I guess the jet is flying above Pomona or should I say Atlantic City Airport.

I've been fishing in down in Tuckerton before and seen them guys fly over.
Living near McGuire AFB I get a lot of planes flying over. You can tell the difference when a fighter plane is in the air. They make a totally different sound compared to the cargo planes. It's tough to spot them through the trees. You gotta look ahead of the sound or you'll miss them. LOL

My husband worked there, I can see the hangar in the photo right above the tail of the plane. They've since built another one so that photo must be a couple of years old.

Cool pic. One thing I always thought was neat was seeing the A-10 Warthogs go buzzing over the Pines. Everytime I went out there I'd see one or two...of course this was a number of years ago....
