Well, they are without a doubt the same piece, so either they moved it to Atsion, or Nate had a brain freeze.

It appears I am a little late to this conversation, haha.

If I'm thinking of the same photo, as part of the HABS collection, it is labeled as a piece of slag at Batsto. However, it was mislabeled as Batsto and is most definitely from Atsion.

Behind the slag, you have the large stone wall of the cotton mill built by Maurice Raleigh in 1872. In addition, to the left of the photo you have a duplex worker home built during the Raleigh era as well.

I was discussing this piece of slag with Don Catts and Paul Hemler, and we came to the conclusion that sometime after this photo was taken, it was rolled down the hill next to the mill and has remained there until this day.

I attached the photo of the slag from the HABS collection, and another photo of the mill with the duplex house taken from Present Day RT-206.

I know what you mean; however, it had to have been pushed somewhat as I don't think it would roll easily to that point.
