Yes, and you should see blooms for awhile. This plant seems to grow (at least in our area) just in the sphagnum area (just beyond the transistion zone) along our creeks. In other words, imagine you are walking down the hill from the road into the cedar zone along Four Mile Branch in your neck of the woods. You leave the huckleberry and other heaths behind and look down and suddenly see sphagum, interspersed with fallen gum leaves and pine needles. Look really close. These are only about 6" high.

Hawkin, if your camera is an SLR take a look at Canon's close-up accessory lenses. Relatively inexpensive compared to a devoted macro lens and excellent quality, I sold my macro lens. They are used like a filter. Some info at the link.

Works just fine, I use it on my 80-400VR and my 70-200VR Nikons. That's what it was designed for, it gives you great flexibility, but to each their own.
