Nothing better than a really cold autumn day in October for photography. I'd take temps in the 20's or 30's year round. No bugs, easier to hike distance, and when the ground is frozen you can access savannah's, bogs and edges of streams that are normally hard to walk through.Temps still need to be 30-degress colder to be ideal for me.

My defense of the colder weather is that I can always get warm. Not at much so trying to get cool in the hot and humid summer.
