Missed me by about that much…. :D

So did this one, but it looks like it hammered Al. Must have been a pretty nasty one, quite a lot of loud thunder and lightning flashes in the distance….

On a side note, I was at a spung south of 72 near Chatsworth Wednesday afternoon, after the big rains. The ground is sucking water up like a sponge. It was barely damp and drying up quick.

It is mostly to the North and West of me, but I'm getting a slow steady rain from the edge of the storm. Yesterday, a cell literally appeared out of nowhere, the forecast was calling for sunny skies. I was on the edge of that one too, but ended up with about 1/2" rain in only 10 minutes. :)

The satellite photo shows that in less than a few minutes the rain will be hitting me. Looks like the stronger storms are going slightly around me.

We have been dry, a really nice day, but just north they have been pounded with very heavy rains all day, the Princeton area especially.

Looks like it will dry up before it gets up here.

It didn't.

We got almost nothing here last night, the ground is wet but that's about all. The previous storm (Friday? I forget…) brought over 2 inches though. Sunny here now but 75 degrees and 89 percent humidity is pretty miserable. :)

Took wife to breakfast this morning in Turnersville about 6AM and it was really raining hard. Puddles all over the roads and hard to drive.
