On a side note, I was at a spung south of 72 near Chatsworth Wednesday afternoon, after the big rains. The ground is sucking water up like a sponge. It was barely damp and drying up quick.
It is mostly to the North and West of me, but I'm getting a slow steady rain from the edge of the storm. Yesterday, a cell literally appeared out of nowhere, the forecast was calling for sunny skies. I was on the edge of that one too, but ended up with about 1/2" rain in only 10 minutes.
We got almost nothing here last night, the ground is wet but that's about all. The previous storm (Friday? I forget…) brought over 2 inches though. Sunny here now but 75 degrees and 89 percent humidity is pretty miserable.
