Swamp Monster, Then & Now

All,

Today on my travels I visited the Swamp Monster again, and even though it is summer the place has really grown up. Ed's geocache is open and the book is damaged and pretty much empty, but the smell of fuel is still ever present.

i made it trip out there last winter when everything was frozen , it was a nice hike to an absolutly amazing area , i couldnt beleive some of the log roads from the logging days were still somewhat there in certain places, i got better pics somewhere

That was a very cool day, Nick. A group of us hiked to the Swamp Monster. It was the third or fourth time I had been out in that area. The first time I went with the swamp frozen over though. It truly is a beautiful place when frozen. Let me see if I can find my pics...
