This the "real" Stone Mountain for some Marltoners that I knew. Is that a word ?
I hunted back there in the early 80's. We had permission to go through a gate on Hopewell and I remember some old buildings in there
Just north of this Stone Mountain along Hopewell Road is Stone Mountain Lane. My youngest son lives in that area now.

Who owns this tract and are these buildings abandoned? I'm not far from here and looking for new places to take the mutts exploring.

AFAIK, the buildings at the link you posted are on private property. My new map makes this a little more clear, public land is shaded green

Thanks Boyd. I should have just searched the forums for West Jersey Cranberry. There's a whole thread about the properties nearby. I see the property lines on your maps as well. BTW been looking at your maps for a long long time but never had a chance to thank you for all the work - so thank you!

Hello, I am Robert Hoffmann’s stepson. It is remarkable seeing that photograph of the building. I will post what little I have as far as images. Mr Hoffmann passed away in 2022, eight or months so after surviving a horrific head on car collision on Taunton Blvd (right near the old Beau Rivage. Sadly my mother discarded most of the photographs following his passing. There weren’t that many because most of what he had was destroyed in the fire.
