We attended a great tribute show to Holly, Valens and Richardson(the Bopper), around Christmas at OCC in the theatre Boyd built. He did a great job

I love that song! Brings back fond memories. It brings me back to the summer of my sienor year of high school. Graduation night a few of us went back in the pines to hang out. My friend Rus Wilbert would bring his acoustic guitar with him when we would all hangout and he would entertain us. That night "American Pie" was the first song he played. When I ever I hear it, it brings me back to that warm night it the pines with good friends.
