Hey, everyone. New member here. I was wondering if anyone had any information on an area called Friendship--not the one out on Carranza, but a place northwest of there--not far from 70 just after Red Lion circle, still in Tabernacle. It's labeled as Friendship on the historic topo and the 1930 aerial. I drove by it once (I think--it was raining pretty hard, and I didn't slow down to read the historical marker I saw there) and the area was an overgrown meadow with a few buildings. Anyone have any info on this?

I was there about 12 years ago. It's private property but I talked to the owner who let me take a walk around. There was one small, old structure that I saw at that time and I have a non-digital photo of it that I can post later. He told me the use of the building but I'm having trouble remembering now. It wasn't a residence and it wasn't a school, might've been the BS shop. I think they may have been growing cranberries there at that time but not sure. The lake you see on the old maps with the little island is still there.
I love those Tabernacle historical society markers. It's always fun to try to decipher the history hidden in sentence fragments.
