A good read Ben. As you probably know, the tavern at Cedar Bridge still stands and was purchased by Ocean County with the proviso that the owner, Rudi Koenig, can live out his life there. Inside is the original bar from revolutionary times. The house is open to the public with the owners consent. It has been nominated for the National Register. In December, a recreation of the skirmish is put on by re-enactors.
