Went out with my wife and Jessica today to roam around. Saw this.

Also, we were on 72 and there was a fire somewhere near 72 and 532 or the JCRR bridge. We were forced off at Chatsworth which was gridlock. I have video from Jessica's GoPro which I will post later.

How do you always run into rattlers? I have seen a total of two in the pines in almost 40 years of roaming them and one of them was DOR. Did you just notice the snake or did it rattle at you?

We came through the 72 and Savoy intersection earlier in the morning and on the way past Brooksbree we passed a FFS truck heading that way. This most likely would have been before the fire started. About two hours later we were coming west on 72 towards Chatsworth and the smoke was choking us as we came up on 532. This video does not show the smoke well but does show the road closure and our detour. Nothing special.

Downtown Chatsworth was jammed with cars and people asking directions after being detoured through there.

This article makes it appear it was closer to 539 than it really was. The fire was west of 532 and not even near 539. And unless they made changes 72 was closed at 532 and not 539.
