Jon, In the first dragon fly photo do you have any idea what shutter speed you used to freeze the motion in its wings? Almost forgot, the photos are incredible please keep them coming.
Thanks Tim. He was not moving his wings that much, but there was a stiff breeze blowing his wings and the branch all over the place. Focus was extremely difficult that day. f/7.1, 1/250 sec., ISO 160, 100mm Tokina macro lens.
Since I shoot primarily landscapes, shooting insects and animals are a challenge for me. It hones my skills to do some real photography.
