Turkey Running Around A Cemetery Stone

Not PB related but I thought this was interesting.

My brother and I were in Salem today looking for an anceters cemetery stone and a woman drove up and told us about this. Then a man on a bicycle told us this has been going on all day for weeks. So we ventured over to check it out. Any idea's? The man said dominance but I had heard animals do this when they have been injured.

All they gotta do is cover it with a bag or cardboard and he'll lose interest. Notice that he looks at it during each turn.

Putting quite a bit of energy into chasing itself. It was running the other way until I got close to it. Then it turned around.

It looks like it viewed the reflection as a challenge.. Kind of odd this time of year. Mating and occurs in the spring and males don't usually do dumb stuff this late in the year.
I was doing a job in Brooklawn a few years back and a beautiful, huge male saw his reflection in our wheel covers on our truck. He was there for half an hour pecking our wheel covers while we watched.

Me and a friend watched a female turkey beat another female bloody in the woods once.We followed them for several hundred yards while the one female alternately chased and pecked the other one bloody.Why would females fight each other? It's usually the testosterone jacked males that like to throw down.I know,I was at that stage once.
