Not the age you would think.

And violates the sign, right? Perhaps broke at least 2 of the rules.

Let us all remember that a young man from Forked River is now paralyzed for life from the same kind of vehicle.

I am more shocked and thoroughly disgusted by fact that the short, factual article in the beginning blends seamlessly into a factoid about UTV accidents and then slips shamelessly into an ad for ambulance chasing attorneys. No wonder people dislike attorneys.

That website is literally nothing but an ad for a legal firm. I don't see any information there that wasn't in the first link. Frankly, it's just spam.

Attorneys :-(

I got into an argument with my dentist because she wants to take exploratory X-rays every time I walk through the door. I said to her, “I let you take a full series of x-rays of my mouth just two years ago. Why do you feel it’s necessary to take x-rays every six months when I don’t have any dental issues?”

Her response, “If I don’t take those x-rays and you have a dental issue, you can hire an attorney who will sue me for not performing a diagnostic procedure that might have detected the problem earlier.”

I told her I was sorry that she had to run her practice in such a defensive manner to keep from getting sued, but I don’t want to be exposed to radiation unnecessarily, so I left her practice.

My dentist wanted 3 xrays a year. I said no. I go out to the reception desk to leave, and the girl said "okay, we'll set you up for 3 months from now. I said, I don't want 3 preventative visits a year. She said 'but your insurance pays for it'. I said, I don't like the inconvenience. She had nothing to say. They are a corporate dental with many practices. Then they got a new corporate to manage them. "The Smilist" from NY I think. And, no kidding, they would send a bill with their letterhead on it, and it would just list how much I should pay, with no date of service and no service code on it. They were overcharging me too, and when I complained at the local dentist, they said "oh just ignore those letters, you are up to date".

All this talk on attorneys reminds me of a joke. What’s the difference between a dead skunk on the road and an attorney on the road………………………..skidmarks in front of the skunk!

The problem leaving is if you go to another one they want X-rays on the first visit.
By law your dentist has to provide you with a copy of your dental records if you request them, so I just forwarded my stack of x-rays to my new dentist.

I had a great dentist for 20+ years, but he retired. I didn’t just leave his replacement over excessive x-rays. I got $1,367 of cosmetic dentistry work done and the new dentist didn’t inform me that she no longer accepted my insurance until it was time to pay the bill.

Yeah, I’m a little concerned about that scenario. My insurance pays 100% for three cleanings a year and 100% for all diagnostic procedures. I don’t want diagnostic procedures performed on me because they’re free and they present a billing opportunity for the dentist.
