The rotting remains of a dam is starting to come to light in the shallow remains of the mill reservoir. The sluice gate was opened because of the deposit of sediment before the dam causing a change in the channel of Crosswicks Creek. If there is heavy rain possibly more of the structure could be exposed through erosion of the bar.
