I checked out the dam today. Working great. I'd like to thank the people who did it, but don't know who.

There are some nice things out there right now:

Purple bladderwort in the pond.
Turks Cap on the other side of the road from the dam.
Xyris smalliana in the pond. A lot of it. I don't see a lot of this in the pines, so it's a treat.

Yes, though I did not take a photo. Some of the sticks remain. I'm not sure what was done, actually.

I know of several vernal ponds down here in Cumberland county with Purple Bladderwort in them.Didn't know it was endangered till the other day.

It is not endangered Al, but it is a species of special concern and monitored by several entities to ensure it does not slip in that direction. I had said it was endangered in my post above but changed it when I realized my error. My fault.
