If I remember correctly you can read about the remains of the schooner "Weymouth" in the book Absegami Yesteryear. It can be seen at low tide in the river (I forget which river though.).
I remember the controversy over that bridge. There was a big fight because there were a lot of people who figured it was not a significant bridge since it was built in the 20th century. I believe they wanted to replace it as part of a road repair project.

You're right, it is in Absegami Yesteryear! You know too much, Barry! :roll: (teasing, of course...)
Curiously, though Boucher lists the directions, the national register shows the address as being restricted!
