As I was walking out to the wood pile tonight with my headlamp on, I noticed that this pine tree looks to be in serious trouble. I've attached a few pictures, does anyone have an idea what's happening here? I've never seen anything quite like this. I'm hoping it can be saved, but it sure doesn't look good. There is sap dripping out at a pretty solid pace.
There were five of these trees in a row in my yard, I have lost 4 to pine wilt disease, but this looks very different. Thanks in advance for any insight and/or suggestions.
