I'd have to second that Piney Warden.It looks like the field we walked across on the start of a PBX hike which was the Ocean Spray field.
Correct sir! And from the woods side. By the way, what is the purpose of this lovely field? I don't know, but would like to.
The field is for disposal of the used water from the pools within the plant. Only one quarter of the field is utilized at a time each year. They also dispose all the rotted cranberries along with with the leaves taken out after cleaning.
No, not there. You must of thought it was an old time photo taken from that spot many years ago, because now that area is quite open and the cedar is minimal.
I am not sure the bridge in my photo is still there. But, it could be seen from a frequently traveled paved road.
You are correct. I just knew someone would get it. I have fond memories of that bridge, from when I was in my 20's. Here is the current google street view:
PS, my photo is from 1982 and had to be scanned in. They ruined the view with the solar panels.
I will take a guess. More than likely wrong but wont be the first time. I am going to say just south of the Public range on 539 to the right??
