I looked on that road using street view but they turned around. Maybe they felt a piney would get them.

Maybe they felt a piney would get them.

Not many piney's on that road anymore, and not much to see except expensive homes, but a more scenic route to get to Stage Rd. There was a fire a few months back in the last one before RT 9 on the water owned by a large local contractor in which a woman perished. The house has since been raised.

Guy, I will take a guess that it is the very old bog within the recent land acquisition at the intersection of Patty Bowker Rd and Rt 532. If it's not that I don't have a clue.

Sorry.

I was at this location on 3/13/2004 and the gate was there but the view was completely different. Unfortunately, I apparently did not take a photo then. The road has been there since at least 1930 and went across the private land shown. In the 2012/2013 time frame the woods were cleared and if you stand there in the next year or so I suspect you will see an even different view. I really do wish I had taken a photo then.

A change is a comin in them there woods.
