It seems at least there is some info on that location. I posted in 2014 about a different sort of raceway in Lebanon hoping someone would know something about it. It was after 1931 but before 1940.

I don’t know that tree but the background looks like the cranberry bogs on Dave’s Road.

Where is this. Just outside the pines. Old RR trestle. Looks like they had an interpretation plaque at one time. I know one person who can identify it in an instant.

Ok, if this one is too hard I’ll give some clues later but, this tree is just off a highly traveled road and I think someone will get it. I’ve driven past it hundreds, if not thousands of times, and more times then not it catches my eye.

That is quite a tree John. Some type of oak, maybe even an old white oak. I'll be interested to hear where it is. Probaly somewhere over by Jackson Road.

It is in Wharton. Not on Jackson Road but not too far away. The picture was taken while sitting in the Jeep.

Yes, I believe thats what the cement bins were for and then loaded into trucks or wagons??? The train would pull up over the bins and then open the doors on the hopper cars.
