That last one is my girlfriends house. I just left there.
It was as of Monday night. But you can easily park before memorial and walk about 50 feet to it. I’ll be driving roads tonight and will see if it still is. I drove in from friendship all the way down caranza on Monday since there was no blockade at friendship.
It was open last night I drove it around 9pm. Not a very hot burn in that section.
I comfirmed. Clear sailing from Hawkins Bridge all the way to 206 this morning. Fire most notable along the gravel section of Carranza right up to the road. Tops of many pines were brown.
I drove the area this am and road bike out this evening. I didn’t see a whole lot of hot burn but there was some parallel to rr tracks. It mostly looked like duff burnt and then the smoke killed the vegetation. Some spots were crispy but the majority was not.
I took a ride late Wednesday afternoon down Carranza Road to Friendship, Chatsworth, and back to Tabernacle. I had just enough time before sunset to stop near Bordentown Deer Club and make a short hike south. (I had to go away Wednesday night, which is why this post was delayed.)
As long as the local ticks all got incinerated, signs of life after the fire are welcome.

The bridges from Batona Camp to the hill are intact. The contrast between the beautiful emerald and the char all around us was impressive,

Di Croce – in making some news in the process – announced that he is now representing, as an attorney in his day job, “several kids charged allegedly with starting a forest fire July 4,” or the “substantial” Tea Time Hill Wildfire on the border of Tabernacle and Woodland townships, before asserting of those who launched fireworks at Murphy’s Pit, “at least these boys and girls had a sense to go out where there is no forest” that could be ignited.
