Ok, then pay for it yourself and sell some banner space to Busby's

Not trying to hijack and I will not say another word on it so as not to seem argumentative and, no disrespect at all to the forum you speak of but I would think that would make some folks uncomfortable on a web forum. Up to and including the moderator/site owner.

It is in the mail. Let me know when you get it. I was told by the clerk that postal money orders are insured so if it don't arrive I can get the money back. I took the pre addressed envelope with me and just stuck it in; however, after doing so I could read it clearly right through it. Oh well, so much for planning ahead.

Yup, I've seen where it creates a whole new "class" of people. "Why are you even posting, you're not a sponsor." "You let this guy get away with murder because he gives you money."
Not to mention then that when a website takes in money there's always the question of "where is that money going?"
I believe information should be free, and people shouldn't have to come here and feel obligated to give money to the site. I do this because I love computers, web design, and the New Jersey Pine Barrens. I wouldn't have seen half of the places I've seen, met half of the people I've met, if it weren't for this site. So I get a lot of pleasure out of running it.
The purpose of this thread was just to vent about Jelsoft, not to solicit donations.
Some of us can say the same thing, me being one of them. So I don't mind spending money from time to time to keep the site up to date if need be. You have given me unlimited storage, the keys to the safe where I can shut the site down if I want to, and many other perks over the years. I think I can fork over a few dollars and you should not think twice about taking it.

Last night I went ahead and ordered the forum software. Many thanks to everyone who donated. Like I mentioned in the "Direction that the site is headed" thread, I'm not going to be rushing the upgrade, and instead will be doing some significant testing behind the scenes.
