    Are E-bikes motorized vehicles?

Before paying for a 75lb e-bike. Maybe try a regular pedal power fat-tire-bike. Much less weight. Much less problems. Four to five inch wide tires on a good light fat-bike makes easy work of all but the worst sand roads.

NJ bag ban causing more plastic use

Alongside the re-usable bags I keep in the trunk. There is a small box of 3.2 gallon Hefty bags for the potentially messy purchases. (If they're not going to give me plastic bags. I'll bring my own.)

New Car or Nearly New Car

FWIW Several years ago, two salespeople started arguing (in another office but still within earshot) when I was buying a car. Turns out the other salesperson promised the car to someone else. Sales manager decided in my favor. The salesperson I was dealing with said it was because I was multiple...

    Forked River Mountain Hike

If you do need to turn around, plan your three point turn carefully. Found this oddly stuck car on a sand road this morning. (Reminded me of that one scene in Austin Powers :))

    Red Lion Dinner

Sunocos all around are closing. The Hammonton Sunoco on 54 was not pumping gas yesterday, though its store was open. The Collings Lakes Sunoco closed months ago. Though the repair business there is still operating.

    Chigged!

Not chiggers, but bug related. If you see an old guy hiking or biking next summer w/ a blue solo cup on his head. Thats probably me.

Atco Dragway’s Closure Has Drawn More Interest In Woodland Roadway Known For Illegal Street Racing, Says Resident In Asking For Enforcement

My first wild guess is an alfalfa farm. Only because I recently read about the Arizona water problems. And the complaints about the foreign owned alfalfa farms draining the aquifer there. The parcel is probably too small for that though.

Don't know if it's relevant. But there is also a Black Horse, LLC based in Abu Dhabi. https://www.blackhorseuae.com/

    Are roads in Makepeace bikeable?

Tamminen Road, the gravel road that runs from the lake to the airfield is a short enjoyable bike ride. After that it's a mixed bag. If you ride it in August, you will likely be cursing the amount of deer flies there.
