We’ve had very wet springs the past several years. I can’t even remember her the last dry spring. Up until last summer even the summers have been relatively wet. That’s a lot of fuel build up for fires.

My grandfather built a house in Kitty Hawk in the ‘80’s on the sound side. I spent a lot of time down there years ago. The ocean has been claiming homes down there constantly.
