I agree Ben. The problem I see is the difference in opinion. I might see a road crossing a low area others see it as wet lands. I would like to know what the management plan is. Is there a budget in place to maintain these roads. If there is not then it is destined to fail and the blame will be...

At quick glance I can name four roads on that map that are now closed.

They simply determined what roads they wanted to close and just make blanket statements that will cover the simple questions. How is East Stokes Road only closed in one section? Is that the only section that wasn't meant for motor vehicles? Are the closed roads just magically going get better...

Yes. I think we all are aware of the problem areas. Most of us don't even go to them. I feel that I'm more likey to report something now but not if I'm in an area that I shouldn't be. The crazy part to me is the roads I used to get to high crossing to avoid the puddles are now closed.

I truely believe that the park police are going about business as usual. They are only going to use this map when needed. Id be willing to bet if you were on a road that's on Google Maps they won't bat an eye. Even if it's off limits. Unless they feel you were abusing the road. Plain and simple...

Agreed. The sad part is the ones that those signs are targeting are the ones that are destroying them. I even noticed some tracks going around one of the "blockades". With one tire in the woods and one going right over it.

That happened last weekend. It was there Saturday morning and gone Sunday. But no tracks went by. This past Friday there were tracks going back there.
