Post Your Old Car Finds Here

This is the one car I found, where I stepped back and thought: "how in the hell?". I mean, this thing is buried in the sticker bush wetlands. Had to be a joy ride or some such.

    Discover Hidden New Jersey

This book is excellent. Very well written. There is a newer one out, but I'm not sure what has changed or has been added. Author: Russell Roberts...

    Spartan Gun Club

I gotta say, this contract seems written way better than the New York City laws in regards to usage. They are having a hell of a time removing squattters even without a contract in place!

    Off Road Park Chatsworth

I don't know if we have this on NJPineBarrens, so I'll plop it right here. Do NOT call the number. It's closed forever.

    Well, yeah. That too.

Any plans for next April's total solar eclipse?

I was in the woods doing a plant survey along the Oswego river. It suddenly got darker and cooler and I was puzzled. I then remembered that was the day it was to happen.

Any plans for next April's total solar eclipse?

To me, it's too local to be awed about while I'm totally flummoxed and mesmerized by the Universe itself. Imagine if you could live forever, and you began a journey across the universe from one side to the other at the speed of light (186,000 miles per second). Not only would it take over 13...

Any plans for next April's total solar eclipse?

I am just not excited about it. Am I the only one that is kind of, "meh", about it?

    Gene Autry

I loved Mr. Haney. One of those actors that was so good, he didn't seem like he was acting. Another good one like that was the county farm agent on the same series.

    More Exploring In Bass River

Quite a ramble Guy! I fell down twice in one week. I'm thinking the muscles are not back to prime yet. Seemed like I could not right myself quickly (yet).

Good stuff Ron. You likely saw him in his prime, right? I can't figure out the cowboy in the checkered shirt. I watched it 3 times but it's not coming to me.

    Where is this?

I'm so sorry Cedar Seeker, I just noticed your post. It slipped by me. The answer is yes!

    Where is this?

This one? Heres a clue. There are 2 streams that each empty their own water body to go under the hard road (said road only 140 feet from the the water bodies). The streams, as they go under the road separately, are about 1,500 feet apart. They join together about 1,800 feet SE of the road.

I like Gene. He had a great cow-poke voice, and I like his christmas album too.

Thanks! As Gene Autry would say: "I'm back in the saddle again". (moderator note: this and the following posts were split from a thread on an unrelated topic)

Very slow. I restored and cleared my cache. Have you seen any lag?
