    Halgas Scout Reservation

That price is absurd anyway. The state likely offered them what it's worth as part of the pinelands, but they think they can do better I'm sure.

    Halgas Scout Reservation

Guy and I were in the wetlands there. I seriously doubt any disturbance can be done in there due to that habitat.

    Halgas Scout Reservation

Odd how they mixed up the word Pinelands for Highlands.

    Ticks & Chiggers--a study

Put an ice cube right on the bite for a minute (between a cube and just one paper towel side). It works for a couple hours. Seriously.

A Fine Time For Fine Wine

What new things would you like to see here?

Yes, though I use Boyds map mostly, I hope you keep yours as backup in case his goes down.

    Sleeper Creek Sawmill

That's about right, assuming the map is South up. This below is North up, if I'm correct.

    Red Lion Dinner

Speaking of WAWA, I avoid them now for hoagies or sandwiches. The quality has gone way down. Bread is tough and tasteless, and the meat, cheese and lettuce is lame. Just a dry no-zest sandwhich. I guess I'm spoiled by Jersey Mikes.

Disappearance and Murder in Hampton Park - 1907

I wonder why he was 'riddled' with bullets when usually a couple is enough.

    Red Lion Dinner

Is this the 'real' end of an era? I didn't stop in much, maybe 2-3 times a year, but it was comforting to know it was there if I needed it. And, there's something to be said about a place where people can gather and get out of the rat race for a couple hours and break bread together.

Wet Forest - Formerly Known as Dry Forest

It's frikken hot out, right? It's dangerously hot. The dewpoints are the most prolonged I've ever seen. I'm going out for a couple hours, but won't stray far from the truck.

    Fire Ecology in the Pines

Okay, new calculation. Is a mile a minute possible? It happened in Hawaii. Let's just say just for interest that it's capable here too, then that fire crossing 539 would reach me in 30 seconds. Even if it was only moving half that, it would reach me in 1 minute. https://wapo.st/45sLsi6

    More smoke in the pines

I've never eaten there, so now I'm upset that I never did. But what is this building in the back? I never noticed it before.

    Which Weather Apps?

For what it's worth to your decision, I always use the TV broadcasts in the morning to see what the weather is for the day. It's very reliable. When I'm in the field, I don't care 'except' when there is heavy weather on the horizon. For that, I use the $10 (one time pay) App that Boyd told me...

    Kayaking the Oswego River

That tall grass is wild rice. Was not there 20 years ago. Very sad to see the pines changing.

    Atsion Mansion Photos

Hey Mike, I listed to your CD a couple weeks ago. Always cheers me up and makes me laugh out loud. I know you guys did not have professional engineers behind it, but I can't help thinking you need to do that again with the sound and cadence all polished up. The tunes are classic.
