did some pike fishing yesterday morning. mostly small ones, a couple medium sized ones. high water levels and lots of sediment made it a little tough but the little guys were biting like crazy. hope you enjoyed the action photos. Jeff

a very misleading article. Comments about much of the pinebarrens being untouched by humans, or that humans had never been there. The largest tract of land east of the mississippi. While I wish this was true, it simply isn't.

I spoke with a njFFS warden on Thursday. He said the fire was still burning but totally contained. They were going to let it burn out. He described it as being on Wilkin's ridge. Jeff

that is an interesting spot. I've canoed all over that reservoir and it has some very interesting life in it. Turtles galore for one thing. The water is also very very clear which is uncharacteristic, probably due to an abundance of clay. Jeff
