    Caveat: They work for Black-Legged ticks and other species that use small rodents for intermediate hosts, but aren't likely to make a big difference in populations of Lone Star ticks, since they don't bite rodents nearly as much.

    It's awesome that I see so many adults with braces now that I've been noticing. I need some pretty hefty surgery to fix an issue I've had all of my life, and the braces are part of it. I kind of like them. They're, I dunno. Youthful? :)

    The lone star ticks are due any second--adults, not the billions of larvae, those will start appearing in late summer. Also now, the black-legged nymphs are out in force. Brace yourselves.
