    Greenwood Girl's Grave

I'm not even sure we should be talking about this, but since we are here's what I have. RIP Mary. Sorry, I don't want to add to this publically.

    High Crossing never disappoints

Probably local, but it was gone by 11:00 and I couldn't find it. Not a kid mudder, just some guy that got stuck in a puddle on our lousy unmaintained roads.

Pedersen recovers raw material from the sites of the Coffin & Hay, Bulltown, Tansboro, and other glassworks that once dotted South Jersey. http://articles.philly.com/2012-03-04/news/31121695_1_glass-factories-pinelands-raw-material

    another "what is this area"?

Yes, it has been and started as confusing, but interesting none the less. I believe the first post is referring to this location. http://maps.njpinebarrens.com/#lat=39.613821475380355&lng=-74.48739051818847&z=16&type=topo&gpx= I found it by taking a virtual paddle down the Ives from where it...

    another "what is this area"?

My link is where I crossed and there was unusual structure, the Ives is interesting. Look at the historical aerials at that spot. When we passed by there was someone was running a weed whacker by the clearing. I plan to explore there, just look at the names of the many branches.

    The Wildwoods 1959

Nice video, I downloaded a copy. I've been going there since at least 1954. I recognize many of the amusements and motels. Most are gone, being replaced with condos, too bad, it's loosing it's charm. Did you know that they left a portion of the old noisy wooden bridge in North Wildwood as a...

    another "what is this area"?

I found it because you mentioned Ives.:) We walked through it on our way down the Batona Trail 2 weeks ago. It's a very interesting area and has a large concrete block. Anyone know who Ives was? http://maps.njpinebarrens.com/#lat=39.65437450493521&lng=-74.4673490524292&z=15&type=topo&gpx=

    Biking in the Pines

Wow, Bert Nixdorf, that's a name I haven't heard of in decades. I remember hiking with him. It is interesting where he places Sandy Ridge and who found Carranza's body.

I have been reading about their expected emergence and have been looking forward to it, I love their song! I have neither seen or heard one yet. So I went back to review my pictures from their last major apperance. One nice feature of digiutal pictures is that they have a date stamp. My pictures...
