    Wagon Trip to Edgepillock, 1892

Jerseyman, other than the fact that Edge Pillock is on or near the Edgepillock Creek and the Springer Creek, there is a Springer Brook in that area, do you have anymore information to the real location of the Edgepillock reservation. I ask because a close friend of mine owns the track of land...

    Pine Barrens Beer

Beer without alcohol is not beer, it would be considered a soda. Keep the fruits, nuts and flakes in California. Beer should not have the Hawiian punch flavor. Beer can have a variety of colors and taste. I prefer a nice lager and others like their darker beers. There are many websites that deal...

    More mountain lion sightings

Over the years there have always been sightings. If someone doesn't have a verified picture, a captured animal, or a carcass then I am sceptical. I guess that I just need something a little more tangible then a possible sighting.

    Custard Stand

The remains of a wooden building and a cinder block outhouse are located at the intersection of Rt 206 and Rt 532 in Tabernacle. The last time this stand was in operation was in 1970 by Ken and Dot Yates of Tabernacle. It appeared that it was in operation in the 1960s but I can't prove that. If...

    Beer (again)

Sometimes when I reflect back on all the wine I drinkI feel shame. Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the vineyards and all of their hopes and dreams .. If I didn't drink this wine, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, "It is...

I like the beer method of measuring your snow. That would last me an hour, but in the mean time I would have another 6 in the snow.

    Before and after

The station is now an office building, very tastefully done. In the past it had been a gift shop and was used for storage. The roof line was changed because of water damage due to lack of repairs. The tracks were removed and the right of way is grass.

    Coal stoves

Jeff, that is exactly how the previous owner of my house used the stove. I have never used it but it looks like coal only, but I could be wrong. It is on a dolly that was moved to the fireplace and it stayed on this dolly for the winter. The pipe comes out the back and it had to do a 90 degree...

Oyster Creek Power Plant cooling tower

The enviormental groups want everything to shut down but themselves. The fact is that the Oyster Creek Plant has just put a ton of money in the facillity in the way of security censors and cameras, put in extensive parking lots on the East side of Rt 9 and they wouldn't do this if the government...

YaYa, The fields at Atsion and Batsto are good, farm land with permission from the owner, on the bayside down at the shore, Franklin-Parker Reserve, near Cranberry bogs, and there are many other spots but you must look around. I don't know what town that you are from and the places that I...
