No, because the people who created it will be tipped off to the Law problem, and we'll never see it again. You should have not even mentioned that law Mr. Boyd.

    The rectangular thing

Those cans of food in the duck blind remind me of a funny story I read a few weeks ago in a 1936 National Geographic. They were writing about California and the economy, and were out in a lumber camp where there was a crew busy felling redwoods with drag saws and moving them after they fell with...

Yes, that's my memory too. I recall standing next to the dike, and then we went east.

I wonder though Guy. Are the photos in the post of the one with the cans and the one some of you visited different than Scotts photo? I waited I think I had water in my boots already. But is the one Dennis is suggesting the same as post 45 above. I think so.

    Oil in the Pines

I recall that topic, and I think I said then, as I do now, that is a horrible idea. If something ever happened for that stuff to get into the aquifers it would be a disaster!

Types of Pine Trees at Maurice River Bluffs Preserve

I'm reluctant to ID a pine from afar. You can narrow it down by counting how many needles in each fascicle, and the length of them. The cone in hand is the other piece of the puzzle. I agree though, not pitch pine.

I suppose the sign "ladies" above the one furnace is just a name for that one. There could be a lot of jokes regarding that one, but I won't.

Size wise, yes, I do vaguely recall that. Here's something from Wikipedia I didn't know about Millville. "Millville Airport was dedicated "America's First Defense Airport" on August 2, 1941, by local, state, and federal officials.[32] In less than a year, construction of military base...

Well, grapes, poultry, glass, soup, and flowers. A somewhat economically depressed economy, but I'm impressed with how wide the streets are, and the roads and empty lots are spanking clean. I give them a lot of credit for keeping the flame going. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palace_of_Depression
