    Hampton upper forge?

I think Moe, Larry, and Curly did that job. What is this round depression? It's interesting. Was it discussed already?

    Goshen in Camden or Burlington?

Yes, you are correct. I misread it.

    Goshen in Camden or Burlington?

No? I think either I am missing something or you are. Many bogs are right in the watershed. They are the smaller ones, but nevertheless. Edit: disregard this Jeff. I misread it. I thought it good to keep the post up anyway.

    Goshen in Camden or Burlington?

Well, are the maps in post 93 the place? At least that is a starting point, i.e, before 18XX.

    Land Speculation

The owner did live in this town, if he was the seller. If he's the buyer, he's in for a shock. He just bought land from Mr. Haney, never a good thing to deal with him.

Another odd thing. Scroll through the photos, the boundaries change. I have not been drinking.

    Land Speculation

Not too amazing if it's in the Preservation area. Nothing can be done with it, if I'm right. Also, has wetlands. Whoever is trying to sell this thinks there's a guy out there who just fell off a turnip truck with a lot of cash in his pocket.

Step right up, how about you mister?

Yeah, like we who live in Jersey didn't know. Actually, the basketball trick never occurred to me, but I'm always the skeptic anyway. A gift article, so you can read it...

    Land Speculation

You have to wonder, does this person know something we don't? Is he betting on the come? https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/639-Route-72-Barnegat-NJ-08005/175590920_zpid/

I bought a gun and intend to use it.

That's a good question. I had a different question in this vein. I wondered if there was a dearth of oak seedlings on his property, which would also reveal something. But I decided not to ask it it as it leads to other complexities. Overall, I'm going to guess from where Boyd lives, that he has...

Pertinent to all woodlands on the East Coast. You can read this as it's a gift article. I'm a little distubed by the incident at the firing range. That would cause me to take some sort of litigious action, but the author did not elaborate. https://wapo.st/3Kdc7Yn

    Goshen in Camden or Burlington?

Good old Don Catts. I never met him, but through all the discussion on this board where he is either a participant or is mentioned, has proven to me that he's a gentleman; even tempered, knowledgeable, and interesting to be around.

    Harsh !

I noticed during my map gazing tonight, the WMA maps also show areas closed temporarily, with dates. This is Howardsville area in Greenwood Forest.

With all that wood on the Lady Chris, it must have smelled ripe onboard at times.

    Beaver Deceiver At Webb's Mill

I stopped by today. The deceiver is working fine, despite the plant material you see on the two circular sections. There is still a decent flow in from the bottom, and any water going past them is easily going into the rectangular section. I request that people leave it alone if it's working...

    Texas Tower #4

That's probably a very interesting job; updating those charts due to shifting shoals, changes in traffic, and what not. What do you use to navigate Scott. Do you have a garmin that uses the same NOAA chart built in? As a small draft are you free to ignore some of the warmings and lanes that the...

    Clay Pipe at Hampton

It's interesting that it tapers at both ends. Perhaps the fatter center sections are tees leading into the field (if I'm seeing it correctly, perhaps not). PS: do you mean the Hampton Furnace area?

    Texas Tower #4

Very interesting. I got wrapped up on lightships last night too, reading a 1936 National Geographic. The Nantucket lightship was rammed and sunk by the liner Olympic in dense fog in 1934. They've had one out there since 1854. The boats have huge mushroom anchors. The light bouy restoration...

DEP Announces Virtual Public Meeting to Launch Wharton State Forest Visitor and Vehicle Use Survey

People who put on knee highs or waders to trundle through wetlands are usually not doing something harmful to the environment. Put that thought to bed or somebody will want to ban that. Besides, the amount of people who do that is miniscule.
