Long live the 60 CSX ! I use it year round in the woods and on the water. :)

    County Boundary Stone

Certainly of interest to Guy and Al and hopefully to others as well. This stone is on the line dividing Camden and Burlington County and the Townships of Evesham and Berlin. It is also near the border of the Pinelands jurisdictional boundary for Berlin Township. It stands nearly 3' tall and...

The New Jersey Early Land Records Project

I have worked on a few like that in my career Al. One was a job that we started out doing gratis for a client/friend. He had bought the ground without a survey and even the seller never really knew where all of his land really was. There were references to an old barn wall for establishing...

The New Jersey Early Land Records Project

Thanks Al. Very interesting. Good to see that my professional organization, NJSPLS, threw them at least $2,500 as well as a company I use on occasion, Signature Information Solutions.

    Saw my first coyote today

The Eastern Coyote is larger than its Western Coyote counterpart because they have, in fact, interbred with wolves. I have snared one and shot one and both were very large animals. They are becoming much more prevalent where I live. Checkout out my Meat-in-the-Woods Camera thread from a few...

DEP Launches Trail Tracker Smart Device Tool

The only thing I would change in that bit of advice 46er is, DON'T get a current topo map, get an older, pre-2013+/- , pre-digital age 7.5 minute quad map.

    WMA's reach 350K acres

You are right Bob. It seems that us hunters have learned to live with you tree huggers. :D

    Jackson Road Closed

Kind of like when someone around here says, "It's on New Freedom Road". Which one would that be ? Watsontown-New Freedom, New Brooklyn-New Freedom, Berlin-New Freedom, Williamstown-New Freedom or just plain old New Freedom. ?

    Jackson Road Closed

The original poster was talking about Medford-Jackson Road piker56. See my post 5 above. Kind of confusing.

    Jackson Road Closed

The situation is more complicated because the River is a municipal as well as a county boundary line. Waterford Township, Camden County on one side and Medford Township, Burlington County on the other.

    Who Would Ever Think

Well they did pick a good, remote stretch of road for those shenanigans. They didn't really sound like LL Bean or REI product testers so I wonder how they discovered 563 ?

    Jackson Road Closed

It sounds like you are talking about the gravel surfaced Medford-Jackson Road at Carol-Ida Lake, a.k.a. Ladies' Lake campground. That road is barricaded before the Mullica River piped crossing and the road has been out for a long time. I know several local people who have campsites on the Lake...

Well Guy, I was careful to say “practical access “. :)

    Closing West Mill Road

What I did is very approximate but actually includes most of the areas you are describing. If you went into the State woods behind Totem you can't cross over to West Mill because event the footbridge over the Nescocheague that linked to West Mill has been out for years. And as I said earlier...

    Closing West Mill Road

Here is something to ponder. I did a little cyphering and a few gazintas, in the words of Jethro Bodine. From the entrance to West Mill Road at 206 to the long defunct bridge behind the Pleasant Mills Church, to which West Mill leads, measures 6.3 miles. An average and conservative width of the...

    Closing West Mill Road

Read my post #50 in this thread and the ones that follow. It was not a vacation, it was a license agreement between Hammonton and Miller. It is a unique way of delegating specific rights to an individual in a public right of way. He convinced Hammonton that control of the road was needed to...

    Closing West Mill Road

I am liking Bob's idea more and more. It certainly beats months of court proceedings. :)
