Guy, based on your painted turtle I think we may have been in the same woods today. There is some bozo down there that likes to put paint on turtles(which can be fatal for the turtle). Nice finds with the boxies....especially the young ones.

Jburd no pygmy in NJ, just down south. We do have timbes here and that site you mentioned is nearly extirpated. There could be other dens there but the one that was surrounded by development had seven timbers killed from it during construction, five by construction workers and two by car...

Bill, in high school we use to have bonfires at the same spot were you and Al recorded the pbtf. We use to hear yotes on occassion at that spot......I certainly come across a load of scat down there. Coyotes are all over the place as I've said before a guy I know got one on his spy camera...
